I’ve been dying to do this since I first saw “The Walking Dead.” Someone’s probably already done it, but it amuses the heck out of me. Merry Christmas everyone!!

My favorite “passage of time” sequence from a movie. 

“The purity myth is the lie that women’s sexuality has some bearing on who we are and how good we are, because really I think we all know that young women are so much more than whether or not they have sex. We really should be teaching our daughters that their ability to be good people should be based on their intelligence, on their compassion, their kindness, not what they do with their bodies.”

Un anciano señor italiano vivía solo en Nueva Jersey. Quería plantar sus tomates, como cada año, pero era un trabajo difícil, ya que la tierra estaba dura. Su único hijo, Vincent, que solía ayudarle, estaba en prisión. El anciano le escribió una carta y le contó su problema.

Querido Vincent, estoy bastante triste porque parece que este año no podré plantar mis tomates. Me estoy haciendo demasiado viejo para cavarlo. Sé que se si estuvieses aquí no tendría ese problema. Sé que te gustaría cavarlos por mi, como en los viejos tiempos. Te quiere, Papá.

Unos días después recibió una carta de su hijo:

Querido papá, no caves en el jardín. Ahí es donde enterré los cuerpos. Te quiere, Vinnie.

A la mañana siguiente los agentes del FBI y la policía local llegaron y cavaron por todo el área sin encontrar ningún cuerpo. Se disculparon con el hombre y se fueron. Ese mismo día el anciano recibió una carta de su hijo.

Querido papá, ahora puedes plantar los tomates. Es lo mejor que he podido hacer en mi situación. Te quiere, Vinnie.
